Pocket Partner Program Terms
Effective from 1 October 2026 for partners who joined before this date, and from the date you join for everyone after.
These terms cover the Pocket Partner Program, run by Open Vision Engineering, Inc. ("Pocket", "we", "us"). If you already had a partner account before today, these terms apply to you from 1 October 2026 and we will email you before then. If you join from today onwards, they apply from the day your application is approved.
1. What the program is
You share Pocket with your audience using a personal link or code. When someone buys through it, you earn a commission. That is the whole arrangement. You are not our employee, agent or representative, and you cannot enter into agreements or make promises on our behalf.
2. Joining
Anyone can apply. A person reviews every application and we can approve or decline for any reason. You need to give us accurate information about who you are and how you plan to promote Pocket, under the name you actually use. One person or company gets one account. If we find two accounts belonging to the same person, the same company or the same payment method, we will close one of them. We email you once your application has been reviewed.
3. What we pay
Current commission rates are shown on the partner page and in your partner dashboard. Rates can change, and if they do we will tell you before the change applies.
You earn on an order when our tracking records that the customer arrived through your link, or used your code, and bought within 30 days of that visit. One commission is paid per order. If our system does not record a referral against your account, there is no commission on that order, and section 8 is how you raise it with us.
4. What we do not pay for
4.1 Orders that come from a Google Ads click. Our system recognises these automatically and does not pay commission on them.
4.2 Your own purchases, or purchases made through your own link by you.
4.3 Orders that are refunded or cancelled. If an order is refunded after the commission has been approved, the amount is deducted from your next payment.
4.4 Orders that come from paid advertising you did not have written approval to run. Section 6.4 explains how that works.
5. How and when we get paid out
A returned order does not earn commission, so we hold commission for 45 days after the order before approving it. Most returns come in well inside that window. After the 45 days the commission is approved and paid out on the next payout run, once your balance reaches $50. If it does not reach $50, it rolls over to the run after.
We run a payout at least every two weeks, and in practice it is usually weekly. You are paid by the payout method you set in your dashboard.
If your country requires us to collect a tax form before we can pay you, we will ask for it and hold payment until we have it.
6. What we ask of you
6.1 Say that you are a partner. Whenever you post about Pocket with your link or code, make the relationship clear, in whatever way your platform and your country expect. "#ad", "affiliate link" or a line in the description all work.
6.2 Be accurate about the product. Describe what Pocket actually does. Do not promise outcomes we do not claim ourselves, and do not make medical, legal or financial claims on our behalf.
6.3 Recording people is the customer's responsibility, not ours and not yours, but please do not suggest that Pocket can be used to record anyone without their knowledge. Laws on this differ by country and state.
6.4 Ask us before you run paid ads. Paid advertising of any kind needs our written approval first, and we do not pay commission on orders from ads we did not approve. There are three things we will not approve in any case. First, ads on our own name: do not bid on "Pocket", "HeyPocket" or misspellings of them, and do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests the ad is coming from us. Second, ads that link straight to our site: send people to your own content first, because an ad that points directly at heypocket.com under your link is paid traffic on demand we already created, and we will deny it. Third, ads built around a competitor's name or around a comparison with one. Google and Meta both publish a public, searchable archive of the ads every advertiser runs, and we look at ours.
6.5 Do not post our discount codes on coupon, cashback, voucher or deal sites, and do not bid on searches for Pocket discount codes. Mentioning a public code to your own audience, inside your own content, is fine.
6.6 Do not buy, spam or automate traffic.
7. Content you make about Pocket
You keep everything you make. By joining the program you give us permission to reuse content you publish about Pocket in our own marketing, with credit to you. If we want to run your content as a paid ad from your own account, that is a separate conversation and we will agree it with you first, along with what we pay for it.
8. If we deny a commission
We will tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, email us within 14 days at affiliate@heypocket.com and a person will look at it again and reply. That decision is final.
9. Ending it
You can leave the program at any time, and anything you have already properly earned gets paid on the normal schedule. We can close your account at any time as well. If we close it because of something in section 6, we may withhold unpaid commission, and we will tell you which part of these terms applies and why.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects what you earn or what you are allowed to do, we will email you before it applies. Staying in the program after that date means the new terms apply to you.
11. General
These terms are the whole agreement between us about the program. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
